Dear DayOne Baby Community,

I am proud and delighted to announce that Nancy Held, Co-Founder and past President of DayOne Baby, has accepted the role of Senior Advisor with our company. After 17 years of helping to establish DayOne Center and DayOne Baby as a trusted leader in parenting education, breastfeeding support, best in class products, and corporate lactation programs, Nancy has moved on to a new and very impactful role serving as the Lactation & Prenatal Education Program Coordinator at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. We are thrilled that she has now re-engaged with us to advise DayOne Baby.

In her current role at Mills-Peninsula, Nancy is responsible for creating new prenatal and parenting education programs and helping the lactation team and birth center staff to achieve Baby Friendly designation. This role allows Nancy to work directly with pregnant and new families, supporting them to reach their breastfeeding goals and begin their parenting journey with confidence. We are delighted Nancy is fulfilling both her love for clinical work at Mills-Peninsula and for community support as DayOne Baby’s Senior Advisor.

As one of our original Co-Founders, Nurse Nancy has a deep commitment to the mission of DayOne Baby. Her expertise, passion, and warm heart make her core to our community. She will be sharing her knowledge to help develop content for our blog, and collaborating with me and everyone on the DayOne Baby team on a variety of exciting projects that we will unfold over the coming months, and to carry on the DayOne Baby legacy.

On a personal note, as I have come into my role as CEO, I’ve increasingly understood and appreciated the values, atmosphere, and approach that make us who we are as a company, and so much of that is directly attributable to Nancy and her work with us over the years. I feel personally privileged to have the opportunity to work with her as we grow into the future. Please join me in welcoming Nancy in her new role!
